Terms of Use

Effective date: 15 August 2026

These terms govern use of the Body Memory website and mobile product. Body Memory is a trading and product name of Jobgeerds, a sole proprietorship established in the Netherlands. In these terms, “Body Memory”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Jobgeerds.

Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use Body Memory independently. If you are under 16, you may use Body Memory only with consent from a parent or legal guardian where your use is permitted and such consent is required by applicable law.

What Body Memory provides

Body Memory is a wellness and body-awareness tool that lets athletes record body observations, daily check-ins, physical history, recovery notes, injury logs, training context and personal patterns. Features may change as the service develops.

Not a medical device or medical advice

Body Memory is not a medical device. It does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any condition and does not provide a treatment plan or return-to-sport clearance. Information and patterns shown by Body Memory are based on the history you record and do not replace advice from a physician, physiotherapist or other qualified professional. Do not use Body Memory for emergencies. Contact local emergency services or an appropriate healthcare professional if you believe you may need urgent care.

Your account and information

You are responsible for providing accurate account information, safeguarding access to your account and deciding what information to record or share. Do not submit information you do not have the right to use. Our processing of personal information is described in the Privacy Policy.

Responsible use

Health-data processing requires a separate explicit consent and is not part of accepting these Terms. Withdrawing it stops the health-data service and initiates permanent account deletion, as explained in the Privacy Policy.

You may not misuse the service, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with security or availability, use the service unlawfully, scrape the product, reverse engineer protected parts except where applicable law permits, or use Body Memory to make automated clinical decisions about another person.

Body Memory Pro subscription

Body Memory is free to use, and some features are available only with Body Memory Pro, an auto-renewable subscription offered through the App Store. Sharing and PDF export are free and are not part of Pro.

The subscription length, the price in your local currency and any introductory or trial period are shown on the purchase screen in the app before you confirm, and prices may differ between App Store storefronts and can change over time. The price shown at the moment of purchase is the price that applies.

Payment is charged to your Apple ID account when you confirm the purchase. The subscription renews automatically for the same period at the then-current price unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and your Apple ID is charged for renewal within the 24 hours before the current period ends. Any unused part of a free trial period is forfeited when you buy a subscription, where a free trial is offered.

You can manage or cancel the subscription at any time in Settings → your name → Subscriptions on your Apple device, or through You → Settings → Membership → Manage subscription in the app, which opens the same Apple screen. Body Memory cannot cancel or refund an App Store subscription on your behalf; refunds are handled by Apple under its own terms.

Deleting your Body Memory account does not cancel an active subscription and does not stop Apple from billing it. Cancel the subscription with Apple separately, before or after deleting the account.

Account deletion

You may initiate deletion from inside the app through You → Settings → Delete account. Deletion is permanent once confirmed. It removes the Body Memory account and associated records and clears local app state, subject to limited retention required by applicable law or normal provider backup lifecycles. It does not delete source records held separately by Apple Health.

Intellectual property

Body Memory's product, branding, interface, written content and software are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These terms give you a limited, personal, non-transferable and revocable right to use the service as intended. They do not transfer ownership of Body Memory materials or of information belonging to other users or parties.

Availability and changes

We aim to operate Body Memory reliably but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability. We may change, suspend or discontinue features when reasonably necessary, including for maintenance, security, operational or legal reasons. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.

Liability and consumer rights

You remain responsible for decisions you make based on your own records and for seeking professional advice where appropriate. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits rights or liabilities that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including mandatory consumer protections.

Governing law

These terms and disputes concerning Body Memory are governed by Dutch law and the laws of the Netherlands, subject to mandatory consumer protections that may apply to you. Nothing in this section deprives a consumer of protections or access to a competent court that cannot be waived under applicable law.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms when the service or applicable requirements change. The current effective date will be published at the top of this page.
